Antique Silver Tiffany & Company Water Pitcher
This is a solid sterling silver antique water pitcher made by one of the best American silversmiths of all time. It is hallmarked "Tiffany and Co. Makers Sterling Silver". Also, there is the script "M" indicating it was made between 1907-1947 under the directorship of John Moore who was the most famous of all Tiffany directors. This is beautifully decorated with garlands of fruit surrounding the shoulder. There is also a delicate floral band surrounding the foot. It is excellent quality worthy of its name and in very nice condition with only one ding on the handle and a few much smaller ones on the body. There are some surface scratches which could be professionally polished out. This weighs a hefty 28 1/2 troy ounces. It measures approximately 8 inches tall.
